A Russian law allows soldiers to be called up for service in the army via e-mail

Moscow announced that Russian President Vladimir Putin had approved a law allowing conscripts to serve in the army via e-mail.

Moscow wants to win the war against Ukraine

It is noteworthy that, the Russian army announced that Moscow wants to win the war against Ukraine with the help of volunteer personnel, and not by carrying out a new partial mobilization.

“Currently, there is a significant increase in the number of personnel who have decided to voluntarily participate in contract military service,” said a spokesman for the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces.

The spokesman added in a statement: I would like to assure you that the General Staff is not planning to implement a second wave of mobilization.

He pointed out that the call-up personnel who are already engaged in service and volunteers are fully sufficient to accomplish the assigned tasks.

There are fears among the Russians of another compulsory mobilization of war reservists in light of the Russian losses in Ukraine.

Many are suspicious of the statements issued by Moscow.
