El-Sisi and Mohamed bin Zayed Inspect Egyptian Fighter Jet Detachment in UAE
Abu Dhabi – News Desk | His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE President, conducted an important inspection visit today. Accompanying him was His Excellency Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt. The visit included the Egyptian fighter jet detachment currently stationed in the UAE. Furthermore, this step aims to strengthen the solid military bonds between the two brotherly nations.
Assessing Operational Readiness and Combat Capabilities
In this context, the visit aimed to conduct a field assessment of combat readiness levels. Additionally, the two leaders reviewed efforts to enhance the forces’ operational capabilities. During the tour, they inspected comprehensive preparations to address various current challenges. As a result, this visit reflects the depth of joint military coordination between the UAE and Egypt.
High-Level Delegation Accompanies the Inspection

Moreover, a high-level delegation accompanied Their Excellencies during the inspection tour. The delegation included His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. Also present was His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. Furthermore, His Excellency Mohammed bin Mubarak bin Fadel Al Mazrouei, Minister of State for Defence Affairs, participated in the tour. In addition, the visit was attended by senior officers from both the UAE and Egyptian Ministries of Defence.
Strengthening Joint Defence Cooperation
On another note, this visit embodies the spirit of ongoing defence cooperation between Cairo and Abu Dhabi. Specifically, the field meetings aim to exchange advanced military expertise.
